THREE-WORD ANALYSIS
The Dockers have been completly stunned by the GWS Giant killers.
FT: Greater Western Sydney 109, Fremantle 88
Against all the odds, the Giants have beaten the red-hot table-topping Dockers.
They are missing a lot of stars and lost Whitfield at half time while they were also coming off three-straight defeats.
Meanwhile, the Dockers were shooting for their 15th win in a row and had just four players on their injury list.
They have, however, lost Young to a groin injury in the third term.
The Giants have done a great job stopping Fremantle’s stars with Treacy, Reid and Clark all given attention while Bolton’s hot start was doused after half time.
Serong had over 30 touches and six clearances but is effciency was well down on his standards for most of the match.
Treacy kicked two goals in junk time but Taylor had his number throughout the day.

The dagger
Jake Stringer boots a seventh to seal the victory for GWS.
His second and third efforts have been unreal today and he gets his seventh goal of the day.
It also brings up the Giants’ century an Manuka Oval.
GWS 103, FRE 69
Haymaker!
The Giants finally land a huge blow.
Stringer soft-dropped a mark against two defenders and the ball bounces back into his hands.
He makes the goal look easy from the quick kick and he now has six.
GWS 94, FRE 67
Giants pushing
Harvey Thomas thumps one into the post as the Giants try to put the Dockers away.
They have not gone into their shell at all and the Dockers don’t have any answers at this stage.
There is 13 minutes of playing time remaining.
