Woman fighting for life after being hit by car in Morley

A woman is fighting for life in Royal Perth Hospital after being hit by a car.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Kennedy Road and Walter Road West in Morley shortly after 6.30pm on Thursday after a silver Subaru Forester sedan hit a pedestrian.

A woman in her 30s sustained life-threatening injuries.

She was treated at the scene by St John WA paramedics before being taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

The driver of the Subaru, a man aged in his 80s, is assisting police.
