Teenager flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after car and motorbike crash in Cuthbert

Albany police are investigating a crash on Lower Denmark Road in Cuthbert after a car collided with a motorcycle on Wednesday night, leaving the young rider with serious injuries. Emergency services received reports of a collision between a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a white Ford Ranger ute on Lower Denmark Road about 7.45pm on Wednesday. St John WA attended the scene, and the 19-year-old female rider of the Yamaha was flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries. The 35-year old male driver of the Ford was not injured, and provided assistance at the scene. A DFES spokesperson said nobody was trapped in wreckage, and local crews were stood down before attending the scene.
