AFL grand final: Live coverage of Fremantle Dockers’ clash against Brisbane in MCG decider

His best hauls have come at the ground and he is the first player to get multiple goals in this game.

This one was set up by an outstanding joint tackle effort from Michael Frederick and Hayden Young before Isaiah Dudley got loose in the corridor.

His kick to Voss was perfection as he drifted into an easy chest mark.

Harris Andrews is sick of the sight of Pat Voss.

The big forward is playing a defensive role on him and the Lions’ key defender is yet to get a disposal.

He has had six spoils but the Dockers have looked dangerous going forward because Andrews can’t get a look at intercepting.

It comes into clear focus as Amiss gave the Dockers the lead back.

At Victoria Quay, the scene was pure bedlam as a never ending, snaking line stretched as far as the eye could see outside Gage Roads pub.

Desperate fans stood shoulder-to-shoulder, willing the line to move as thousands stacked up outside the massive brewery in a last-ditch bid to secure a spot inside before bounce down.

A similar line could be seen outside The Left Bank in East Fremantle stretching along Canning Highway for what appeared to be kilometres.

The Dockers make the perfect start!

They win the first clearance and get the ball to Josh Treacy who leads up to the 50-metre arc.

He then goes deep and Pat Voss beats Harris Andrews in the air for a strong mark.

He slots the goal and FREOOO rings around the home of footy.

Brisbane got stronger as the quarter went on but Fremantle fans should be very pleased with the signs from their team.

Being overawed has hurt many teams in their first grand final as a group but the Dockers have just played their game and gotten to work.

Both teams are making a few errors under pressure but the skills on show have been pretty good and promise a mouth-watering contest to come.

Murphy Reid is the only Docker in the top five ball-winners with eight and a goal.
