Krystal Sims: US substitute teacher held alleged nude shower call with underage student to arrange sex meet

A female teacher has been arrested for allegedly talking to an underage student about a sex rendezvous on a video call while naked in the shower.
The woman who had been acting as a substitute at a yet-to-be-identified school in the US state of Kentucky stands accused of exposing her breasts during the call.
Authorities claim, Krystal Sims, 30, was using the video interaction to organise an in-person sex meeting with the student.
The boy was interviewed by the Barren County sheriff’s department on October 2 after they received information that the teacher had spoken with him to allegedly arrange to have sex, according to a uniform citation obtained by WCLU.
Ms Sims allegedly accepted the boy’s friend request via social media site, Snapchat, after working at his school in Barren County, the citation said.
Police will allege the pair spoke to each other online, and had planned to meet up to have sex in Cave City, north of Nashville.
The student, whose age has not been confirmed, allegedly recorded a phone call on August 22, where a woman is heard asking if the boy would come meet up with her.
He did not record a subsequent video chat, the document information published in The New York Post states, but the call did change later to a video chat, where Sims allegedly exposed her breasts to the student while in the shower, authorities said.
Ms Sims has reportedly admitted to police that she was the woman in the recorded call, but claims she only agreed to meet the student so he could apologise for his behaviour in class.
The substitute teacher told police that she then had to turn down several friend requests from other male students on social media.
She added that nothing physical occurred between her and the student, according to the document.
Police charged here with unlawfully using electronic communication to solicit, procure, or promote a child for sexual activity or other prohibited acts.
Sims was released from prison after posting $US25,000 cash bond on Monday, and was due to face court on Wednesday (local time).
