
The Ord River Magpies have continued their undefeated streak this East Kimberley Football League season after taking down the Bow River Blues during round 12 at the weekend.
In a sensational performance the side booted 17 goals at Ingrid Harvey Oval on Saturday afternoon to come away with their 10th win of 2026 by 74 points, 17.8 (110) to 5.6 (36).
Ord River’s Matthew Hannagan and Nazahrius Hart led the goal count with four majors apiece followed by teammates Matthrew Martin with three and Cody Even with two.
The Port Wyndham Crocs who sit under Ord River on the ladder in second place also took home another dominant win after more than doubling the Kununurra Demons’ score as the two teams clashed at Clarrie Cassidy Oval on Friday night. Final scores were 16.7 (103) to 7.6 (48).
The Warmun Eagles meanwhile had a bye but will return on Saturday to take on Ord River at Warmun at 1pm.
The results from the latest round leave the Kununurra Demons in third place followed by the Bow River Blues in fourth and the Warmun Eagles in fifth and last place on the ladder.
There are now just three more regular-round games before the first finals.
