Surrounded by the picturesque scenery of the Swan Valley, this year’s Telethon Home is not only set to impress but to raise a significant donation for children in need.

The slab for the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home was poured last week and the brickwork will begin in the coming days on the 762sqm block donated by Satterley Property Group in its Clementine Estate in Upper Swan.

“People love living here, from families to first-time buyers as well as people downsizing to be near their grandchildren,” Satterley founder and chief executive Nigel Satterley said.

“It’s really all about the families . . . they’ll become part of the Swan Valley family.”

The build marks the first time since 2017 that a Telethon home has been built in Perth’s northern suburbs and the first time in two decades since one was built in the Swan Valley region.

“As we all know, the Swan Valley has lots of attractions, so it’s a great family home,” Mr Satterley said.

But despite the change in scenery, the core purpose of this year’s Telethon Home remains the same — with 100 per cent of the proceeds from the home’s sale to be donated to Telethon.

Other features of the stunning home include a 273sqm of living space, expanding to 335sqm with the inclusion of a front veranda and alfresco area.

The home also features elevated ceilings and a home theatre.

Blueprint Homes has generously donated the build.

Blueprint Homes general manager Craig Park said it was the company’s first year partnering with Telethon and “the response that we’ve got from all of our suppliers and trades has been really overwhelming”.

“Everybody is super excited to jump on board with us and go on the journey to supply a beautiful home for Telethon 2024,” he said.

The project has been central to the annual fundraiser and has raised more than $29 million.
