Luck was in the air on Wednesday night for one daring WA punter who is now $1 million richer following the Millionaire Medley draw.

They were the sole division one ticket holder from Wednesday’s lotto draw, matching the six numbers to become an instant millionaire.

While not the same ridiculous figure, another two West Aussies had a handy win with the division two prize - pocketing a cool $5285.30 each. 18 more locals will cash in $484 from division three.

The all-important numbers from draw #4621 were 26, 15, 18, 27, 7, 37. The supplementary numbers were 19 and 44.

Punters will be praying that the lucky streak for West Aussies continues tomorrow, with Thursday’s Powerball Jackpot hitting a gargantuan $30m.

Tonight’s local success comes after the heart warming news that a Perth woman was able to become a first-home buyer in her 70s after winning a Millionaire Medley draw.

Using her decades old numbers, the woman bought the winning System 7 ticket at Crimea Newsagency in Morley, which is now worth $1 million.

Still working in healthcare five days a week, the winner said that she would cut down her hours and spend more time with her loved ones in her new abode.

“My job in healthcare is incredibly rewarding and I’m not ready to retire yet,” she said.

“This win is life-changing but I’ll keep working a few days a week because I love my job so much.

“I’m looking forward to celebrating the win soon with my family.”
