Goldfields Football League officials have extended a commitment to building local umpiring stocks with a call-out to potential mentors.

As part of a renewed focus on developing quality umpires for local junior fixtures, the GFL is seeking match-day mentors for its young officiators.

Mentors must be over 17 years of age, preferably have a high football knowledge, and be able to attend training sessions on Mondays.

Completion of specific online training modules is also a requirement.
