Yornup: Man, 73, dies after Landcruiser crashes into Commodore near Bridgetown bringing State road toll to 108

A 73-year-old man has died in a crash in the South West. The tragedy happened when a grey Holden Commodore sedan station wagon and white Toyota Landcruiser utility collided on Gommes Lane near Yornup — about 12.5km south of Bridgetown — about 10.50am on Monday. The driver of the Commodore was badly injured and died at the scene. The occupants of the Landcruiser, including a 19-year-old male driver, received minor injuries. The crash was the seventh fatal accident in five days, bringing WA’s road toll to 108.
