Tip Top: Bread facility on Magnet Road in Canning Vale catches fire, workers sent home

Firefighters rushed to Tip Top’s industrial bread bakery after a blaze started inside the Canning Vale facility overnight.

The building on Magnet Road was flooded with firefighters following reports of a fire erupting just before 12.30am on Wednesday.

It is believed workers were in attendance at the time and that the the bakery was in operation just before the blaze.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage is unknown.

Firefighters were observed using breathing equipment to counter the flames, which were seen breaking through the roof.
