Bakers Hill: Man airlifted to hospital after becoming trapped under hydraulic lift for several hours

A man has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after becoming trapped under a hydraulic lift for several hours in WA’s Wheatbelt region. First responders rushed to the scene after reports of a serious incident involving a man, aged in his 40s, on Tamma Road, in Bakers Hill — about 25km south-west of Northam — about 3.15pm on Wednesday. The man sustained serious injuries and was trapped for several hours before he was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital on the RAC Rescue Helicopter. It is unclear if the incident is related to a workplace or farming accident.
