Ambulance driver fighting for life after vehicle rolls on major highway in WA’s Wheatbelt

The driver of a St John ambulance is fighting for life after the vehicle rolled on a major highway in the State’s Wheatbelt.

The vehicle was travelling along Great Eastern Highway near Kellerberrin when it left the road and rolled at about 7.45am on Thursday.

The 47-year-old man was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for the treatment of life threatening injuries.

The West understands he is in a critical but stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

Major Crash investigators are examining the scene and have asked that witnesses contact Crime Stoppers.
