The Broome Civic Centre roared to life with Broome Boxing Club’s Red Dirt Rumble Kimberley Championships on Saturday night.
The region’s biggest night of boxing drew talent from across WA and interstate to contend on the local stage.
Spectators were treated to an electric 13-bout fight card, spanning high-energy youth matches, hard-fought novice clashes, and high-calibre elite showcase bouts.
The elite divisions delivered stand-out performances late in the evening.
In the headline bout, Broome Boxing Club’s Elie Awad capped off the night in style with a victory over Fighter Fit’s Adam Unsworth in a thrilling 73kg open elite clash.
Interstate challenger Abu Musa (Ring Fit) secured a tough win against Darwin’s Riley Lewer (Palmerston BC) in the 77–80kg ppen elite division.
Jack Henson (Chinas BC) provided the night’s definitive finish, stopping Brodie Fuller (Fighter Fit) via a first-round knockout in their elite showdown.
Regional clubs made a strong showing across the card, with fighters representing Fitzroy Crossing, Kununurra, Newman and the Northern Territory putting on impressive displays of technical skill and grit.
