iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce make awards show debut, Swift wins seven trophies

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have made their glamorous awards show debut as a couple at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in LA.

While the pop superstar and NFL player, both 36, didn’t walk the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre together, the lovers were spotted in the audience where they posed for photos and greeted singer Sombr.

Swift looked stunning in a pale green corset top paired with a miniskirt and Jimmy Choo shoes, with some fans thinking the outfit hinted that her next album could be a re-recording of her debut album, Taylor Swift.

The colour of the corset and skirt, as well as Swift’s more minimal makeup — she changed up her signature red lip to a pale pink — and hair styling, seems to pay homage to the Taylor Swift cover.

Swift is this year’s awards’ most nominated artist with nine nominations and won seven of them, including artist of the year, pop song of the year, best lyrics and best music video for The Fate of Ophelia and favourite tour style for The Eras Tour.

After accepting the award for best pop album, presented by Raye, she gave the star athlete a loving shoutout in an inspiring speech.

“This album (The Life of a Showgirl) probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that’s the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé,” she said.

“Thank you to iHeart and thank you to anyone who cared about The Fate of Ophelia, because you made that into the biggest hit of my career, which is crazy at this point.”

Olympian figure skater Alysa Liu then presented her six other awards in one go, with Swift kissing Kelce before taking the stage.

Kelce and Swift enjoyed Raye’s live performance of Where Is My Husband and were spotted dancing along to the viral song with Swift pumping her arms.

She also held up her engagement ring to Kelce’s face during the catchy chorus, where Raye sings “Baby, where the hell is my husband. What is taking him so long to find me?”

The last awards show Swift attended alone was the Grammys in 2025.

She last attended the iHeartRadio Music Awards in 2023 when she was honoured with the prestigious Innovator Award.

Miley Cyrus took home this year’s Innovator Award on the back of releasing her Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special this week.

Other highlights from the ceremony hosted by rapper Ludacris included Alex Warren taking out song of the year for Ordinary, Sabrina Carpenter winning pop artist of the year and KPop Demon Hunter’s Huntr/X winning duo/group of the year.

Teddi Mellencamp presented he dad, John Mellencamp, with the iHeartRadio Icon Award.

The performance line-up included Alex Warren, John Mellencamp, Lainey Wilson, Raye and Kehlani.

Swift is iHeartRadio’s most decorated artist of all time with her awards from 2026 bringing the number of trophies she’s won to 41 in total.
