The race that stops the nation doubled as a runway on Tuesday, with celebrities bringing a kaleidoscope of colour and plenty of sartorial flair to Flemington Racecourse.
Perth’s own Jules Neale made a fiery statement in a head-to-toe red outfit from By Johnny, complete with matching opera gloves and a simple headband.
Bec Judd and husband Chris were quite the power duo, with the former sporting a striped strapless number, accessorised with red heels and an oversized bow in her hair, while the AFL great opted for a classic navy pinstripe suit and green tie.
Never one to shy away from a fashion moment, Pip Edwards turned heads in a breathtaking turquoise J’Aton Couture ensemble, paired with Valentino heels.
Hollywood star Jamie Foxx brought some serious bling to the Birdcage in a black-and-gold suit, thick black sunglasses and a watch that looked to be worth an eye-watering sum.
Elsewhere, animal prints, pillbox hats and unapologetically clashing colours proved racegoers were more than willing to throw the traditional fashion rulebook out the window.
