Oceania Cruises has swung to adult-only voyages.

It announced the move early in 2026, and all guests must now be 18 or older for new bookings.

The policy applies across its entire fleet.

An insider tells us it comes from passenger feedback, and is a move that will enhance the “serene, sophisticated and intimate atmosphere” that they are looking for in a small-ship, luxury voyage.

Their research shows that guests value a quiet, unhurried and refined environment.

And so it took the step to ban children.

“Our guests have consistently shared that the tranquil environment aboard our ships is one of the primary reasons they return time and time again,” says chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises, Jason Montague.

“By transitioning to an adults-only experience, we are enhancing the very essence of the Oceania Cruises journey — one defined by sophistication, serenity and discovery.”

Oceania prides itself on its culinary and destination focus.
