New luxury Four Seasons resort in Puerto Rico ready for bookings

There’s another reason to book flights to the Caribbean, now that the Four Seasons has established a new home in Puerto Rico.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico is accepting reservations from November 20 after undergoing extensive enhancement developments, and has been billed as a “secluded tropical playground” offering unparalleled luxury for guests.

Located on the island’s north-eastern shore, the property is set on a 3.2km expanse of pristine beach and a 195ha private nature reserve. It proudly holds the title as the only resort in the Caribbean designated as a Certified Gold Audubon International Signature Sanctuary, recognising its sustainable design and commitment to following eco-friendly principles.

Guests can soak up the laid-back atmosphere with cocktails by the pool or a wellness journey at the on-site spa, or take part in one of the resort’s signature experiences, from exploring the waterfalls and ziplines of El Yunque National Forest to kayaking by night to a serene lagoon where glowing plankton create an underwater spectacle or discovering old San Juan’s colourful buildings and cobblestone streets.

General manager Pablo Molinari says the refurbishments represent an entirely new identity for the property.
