Melbourne’s famous Skydeck celebrates 18th birthday with discounted tickets

Melbourne’s Skydeck has officially come of age, and it’s throwing a party to celebrate.

The highest public vantage point in a building in the Southern Hemisphere, Skydeck is toasting its 18th birthday with a two-week special, with tickets for $30.

That’s a saving of up to 40 per cent off the standard ticket price. It includes entry to the 6D virtual reality Voyager Theatre experience which takes guests on a thrilling trip through Melbourne’s most iconic locations.

Since Melbourne Skydeck opened in 2007, more than 8.6 million visitors have experienced soaring views across the city and Yarra River from the top of the Eureka building.

The tower is almost 300m and its 92 storeys make it one of the tallest residential buildings in the world.
