KrisShop launches in Australia

For years, frequent flyer points have been something many of us squirrel away for a future holiday. But increasingly, airlines want those points to become part of everyday life.

That’s exactly what’s happening with the launch of KrisShop Australia, Singapore Airlines’ online retail platform, which is making its international debut here.

For Australian KrisFlyer members, the biggest change isn’t simply another online shopping site. It’s that KrisFlyer miles are becoming more useful. Members can now earn miles on everyday purchases and redeem them on everything from Dyson appliances and Bose headphones to Smeg kitchenware and Pandora jewellery, without needing to book a flight or travel with Singapore Airlines or Scoot.

KrisShop CEO Rachel Tan says Australia is a key market for the business, making it the natural choice for the platform’s first international expansion.

“Our Australian customers are at the heart of this launch, as Australia is a very important market for KrisShop,” she says.

“This launch is about making shopping simpler, faster, and more rewarding for KrisFlyer members here.”

To celebrate the launch, KrisShop is offering double KrisFlyer miles on purchases for a limited time, alongside special pricing across selected brands and discounts for customers paying with miles.
