Perth city streets will come alive yet again with food and flavours from around the world when the Twilight Food Market returns to the heart of the Perth CBD this Friday.

The market at Forrest Place will kick off on October 2 and run every Friday evening until April 27 — with more than 37 food vendors expected to set up their stalls from 4.30pm.

New vendors joining the line-up this season include Nana Bread and Il Panzerotto.

City of Perth Lord Mayor Bruce Reynolds said the market, now in its 16th year, was a way for people to enjoy a Friday night in the city.

“The Twilight Food Market is all about bringing people into the heart of Perth to eat, explore and enjoy everything our local food scene has to offer while making the most of late-night shopping in the city,” he said.

“With more than 37 vendors and new flavours joining the line-up this season, there’s always something different to discover.

“It’s a great way to finish the week with friends or family, grab something delicious, do a little shopping and soak up the atmosphere of Forrest Place.”

The City of Perth is also offering $5 night-time parking at all of its carparks, aimed at encouraging visitors to come into the city for dinner and late-night shopping.
