Fire retardant bags for your lithium batteries

Responsible travellers carrying power banks and other lithium batteries might just slip into a hardware store and buy a fire-retardant battery bag.
That’s how I carry mine.
I use a FirePro Lithium-Ion Battery Fire Resistant Bag, which is $18.93 at Bunnings.
It is 19cm by 7cm by 7cm, with a good velcro seal and easy to put in a carry-on bag.
It’s big enough for two power banks and my extra camera and drone batteries.
In fact, as you read this, I am away on assignment, with the FirePro. Apart from the fire retardancy of the bag, when travelling, it is a nice, neat way to keep spare batteries together in one labelled bag.
I also have a soft FirePro document bag, A4 size, which is $9.45 — and being soft, is also easy to tuck into carry-on. It is also available at Bunnings (and other places).
