Fremantle Next Generation Academy prospect Josh Nathan will become the 14th league debutant for East Fremantle this year as the club continues to battle injury.

Nathan is one of two inclusions for the Sharks as they prepare to take on a finals-bound Perth – who are known as Boorloo for NAIDOC Week – at Mineral Resources Park on Saturday.

The 18-year-old earns his first game after a strong performance in the reserves, where he laid a whopping 18 tackles to go with as many disposals against Peel Thunder.

Nathan is joined by key forward Jack Cocking, who will play his first league game for the season after nine goals in four reserves matches, having battled injury for the first half of the year.

Veteran Harry Marsh is out with a minor calf injury, while Elijah Stockden will miss with a groin complaint.

The Demons will be without important midfielder Riley Wills because of a short-term ankle injury, with Noah Cachard returning as cover.

Last-placed West Perth have welcomed back four vital players for their vital game against Subiaco at Sullivan Logistics Stadium.

Midfielders Kane Bevan and Connor West, as well as forward-ruck Coen Livingstone and defender Sam Rotham have all been named, with former Eagles half-back Ben Johnson to miss with a quad injury.

Jack Wooden, Matthew McKenzie and Jonah Brooks have all been dropped for the one-win Falcons.
