Inter can win the Serie A title with five games to spare - and even better, they can clinch it at San Siro in a derby against city rivals AC Milan.

Both Milanese clubs drew on Sunday, leaving the Nerazzurri 14 points clear at the top having won 26 of their 32 games in a largely dominant campaign.

A late equaliser from Cagliari's Nicolas Viola earned the visitors at 2-2 draw at Inter, while Milan fought back from 3-1 down but could only draw 3-3 at relegation-threatened Sassuolo.

Roma's match at Udinese was suspended with about 19 minutes remaining after defender Evan Ndicka collapsed.

The capital club later released a statement saying the Ivory Coast international was "feeling better and in good spirits" but will remain in hospital for further observation.

At Sassuolo, second-placed Milan got off to the worst possible start, finding themselves 2-0 down inside 10 minutes following goals from Andrea Pinamonti and Armand Lauriente.

Luka Jovic reduced the deficit on the hour mark and Milan - who also had two efforts chalked off for offside - levelled six minutes from time through substitute Noah Okafor.

Even without the suspended Lautaro Martinez, Inter looked on course for victory before substitute Viola's late leveller.

Cagliari forward Eldor Shomurodov had canceled out Marcus Thuram's opener for Inter but Hakan Calhanoglu restored the Nerazzurri's lead from the penalty spot in the 74th following a handball by visiting defender Yerry Mina.

On-loan Walid Cheddira scored twice against his parent club to help relegation-threatened Frosinone draw 2-2 against defending champions Napoli.

Napoli twice took the lead, through Matteo Politano and Victor Osimhen, but Cheddira hauled Napoli level on both occasions.

Cheddira was signed by Napoli in August but immediately sent on loan to Frosinone.

Italy coach Luciano Spalletti, who last season led Napoli to their first league title in more than three decades, was watching from the stands and appeared to be fighting back tears as the home fans chanted his name after he was shown on the stadium's giant screens.

Napoli, eighth in Serie A, are on their third coach since Spalletti left at the end of last season.
