Lachie Neale: Tess Crosley named as friend who received Jules Neale’s comment amid AFL star’s marriage drama

VideoTess Crosley posted a video to TikTok of Lachie and Jules Neale.

Jules Neale has reportedly fallen out with her close friend following revelations she has “been betrayed in the most unimaginable way”.

The Perth-born hairstylist — who has been married to AFL star Lachie Neale since 2018 — took to social media on Friday to slam reports she was “working through” issues, suggesting what has transpired in her marriage is irreconcilable.

“I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything,” Jules wrote.

“I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.

“All I can do now is to heal and do what’s best for my children.

“Thank you for all the love and support. Jules x.”

Just a day after her statement, a screenshot surfaced of a now-deleted comment Jules, 35, left on a close female friend’s Instagram post, demanding she take down photos that featured herself and Lachie.

“Take these (pictures) down. . .’’ the comment said.

It can now be revealed the comment was left on her close friend Tess Crosley’s post.

The post, which is still published on Crosley’s Instagram, features 12 photos showing Crosley, her husband, Jules and Lachie celebrating the Brisbane Lions grand final win at the MCG.

Not only does the comment point to a friendship fall-out, the once-close pals are also no longer following each other.

Despite the unfollows, as of Tuesday, Crosley’s Instagram account still has many posts featuring Lachie and Jules, with photos showing the couples frequently holidaying together with their kids.

Jules has scrubbed her Instagram of Crosley and her husband Lachie, also unfollowing Lachie’s account. Lachie is still following Jules and she still appears on his account.

The new information comes as a moving truck was spotted at the Neales’ family home in Brisbane.

The pair have lived in Brisbane since Lachie was traded from the Fremantle Dockers to the Lions in 2018.

In his acceptance speech for his first Brownlow Medal in 2020, Lachie revealed the sacrifices Jules had made once he had been traded from one side of the country to the other.

“Not many people probably know but she owned a salon in Perth before we decided to move to Brisbane, she had to sell that to come over here and follow my dreams,” Lachie said.

“She was doing very well for herself over there but she always puts me ahead of herself when she shouldn’t have to.

“She’s the most selfless person I know and my biggest support.”

The pair share two children: Piper, 4, and Freddie, 1.
