A fresh social media post by the woman at the centre of cheating allegations has reignited controversy after Lachie Neale’s relationship breakdown with his wife, Jules.
Lachie and Jules have been moving forward separately since their high-profile breakup late last year. But attention has again turned to Tess Crosley, who was accused by many of having an affair with the Brisbane Lions star.
Crosley shared a photo of a bar as part of a recent Instagram carousel, captioned with a love heart and spade emoji.
Observers were quick to point out that the venue appeared to match a bar featured in Neale’s own Instagram posts from around four weeks ago, fuelling chatter about whether the overlap was coincidental.
First, see Crosley’s image posted just one week ago:
Prior, this was the image Lachie also posted amongst a range of other photos in a carousel:
The lamps are the same, the artists are seemingly the same, and the venue is therefore likely the same. But as the images are not dated, it’s unclear if the pair were there at the same time.
The bar appears to be Le Royale in Brisbane, where Lachie and Crosley are both based.
Despite the speculation, Lachie’s camp has maintained the pair are no longer in contact.

Crosley, a former Mormon missionary, has continued posting a mix of cryptic captions, bikini snaps and glamour shots. Earlier this year, she drew attention with a now-deleted post showing her face partially covered by a scarf while on a boat, alongside the caption: “There is always another story, there is more than meets the eye”.
Her account briefly disappeared before being reactivated late last month.
Alongside those posts, Crosley has also shared glimpses of life with her young son, whom she shares with husband Ben Crosley. He previously indicated she had moved out of the family home in Brisbane, and she has been seen without her wedding ring. However, the pair have recently interacted online, with Ben liking some of her posts and Crosley commenting on his over the weekend.
It’s understood their relationship began while Ben was in another partnership.
Family members have since publicly defended Crosley, pushing back on her portrayal amid the controversy. A publicist with a personal connection to her has also spoken out about the toll of the intense attention, claiming she has been subjected to ongoing harassment.
The breakdown of the Neales’ marriage became public in December, when Jules relocated to Perth with their two children as she began to recover from what she described as an “unimaginable betrayal”.
Neale addressed the situation publicly in January, saying: “I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions”.
The Brisbane Lions star, who recently notched his 300th game, also stepped down as co-captain in the wake of the scandal. Speaking last week, he said the situation had unexpectedly helped him refocus on football.
“I suppose there’s not much you can do to repair some of the stuff in the off-season,’’ he told SEN last week.
“But for me, yeah, just delving into my footy and getting to work has been a little bit of therapy in a way. That’s been a relief for me in some sort of weird way.”
While Jules shared an emotional update with followers after trying hypnotherapy for the first time, saying she had spent an hour crying following the session.
“Don’t mind my appearance I’ve just been like crying for like an hour straight because I did hyponotherapy.”
She said the experience had helped her process emotions in a way she hadn’t achieved through traditional therapy, describing it as unexpectedly powerful.
“It was incredible. I just wanted to share it cos I thought if anyone is dealing with anything emotionally, you know, any kind of trauma or anything that you would go to normal talk therapy, traditional talk therapy for. Maybe try hynotherapy as well because I feel like that did a lot more for me in one session than talk therapy has before.“It kind of delves a little bit deeper I suppose. Yeah it was really incredible so I just wanted to share that. Sending my love.”
Jules has previously spoken about “rebuilding her glow quietly” and focusing on herself after the breakdown of her marriage, while also adjusting to single parenting life in Perth.
