US evacuating citizens out of Israel during after Iran bombings
The U.S. Department of State had begun evacuating its citizens from Israel as the bombings began in Iran according to U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.
Two flights have already left Tel Aviv to Athens with approximately 70 U.S. citizens, their accompanying immediate family members and lawful permanent residents, the State Department said.
“If you are a US citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident currently in Israel or the West Bank and seeking U.S. government assistance to depart, please complete this form so the Department of State can better assist you and provide you with timely updates,” Huckabee wrote on X.
“If you have only completed the crisis intake form, please do not fill it out again.”
After Trump confirmed the strikes, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement congratulating the president’s “bold decision.”
“Congratulations president Trump, your bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history,” he said.

“History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world’s most dangerous regime, the world’s most dangerous weapons.
“His leadership today has created a pivot of history that can help lead the Middle East and beyond, to a future of prosperity and peace.
“President Trump and I often say, ‘peace through strength,’ first comes strength, then comes peace.
“And tonight president Trump and the United States acted with a lot of strength.
“President Trump, I thank you, the people of Israel thank you, the forces of civilisation thank you.
“God bless America, God Bless Israel and may God bless our unshakeable alliance, our unbreakable faith.”
