A man has died in a car crash in the coastal town of Jurien Bay, around 200kms north of Perth.

The 62-year-old man died at the scene after the silver Ford Falcon ute he was driving veered off the road and crashed early on Sunday.

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information about the incident.

Police said the ute was travelling north on Indian Ocean Drive, near Middleton Boulevard, at about 7.20am when it left the roadway and crashed.

Anyone with information regarding the crash, or who saw the Ford Falcon utility being driven in the time leading up the crash, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

It comes just days after the death of a teenage driver who was behind the wheel of a car rollover in Jurien Bay in which three child passengers were injured.

The single-vehicle rollover crash involving a Toyota 4WD happened on Monday about 9.35am on Canover Road in Jurien Bay.

Emergency services were called to the scene, with three children, aged between one and seven, taken to Jurien Bay Medical Centre with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver, an 18-year-old woman, was taken by rescue helicopter to Royal Perth Hospital in a serious condition.

A WA Police spokesperson confirmed the 18-year-old died in hospital on Tuesday as a result of her injuries.
