A crash on Mitchell Freeway caused heavy traffic for commuters heading home for the weekend.
The collision on the southbound entry from Hester Avenue in Joondalup occurred just after 4pm on Friday.
Main Roads WA confirmed the left lane was partially blocked.
DFES and tow trucks rushed to the scene, clearing the crash by 4.30pm.
Vision from the scene showed vehicles blocked behind the crash, unable to enter the freeway or reverse back.
Motorists were being urged to drive with caution in the area.
