Halls Creek product Sam Petrevski-Seton an early bird at first West Coast Eagles training session
Halls Creek export Sam Petrevksi-Seton has made a positive first impression at his first training session with the West Coast Eagles.
The Eagles ran their first pre-season training at Mineral Resources Park on Monday after missing out on finals in the 2021 season.
Petrevski-Seton was one of the first to arrive at the oval and impressed with a successful shot on goal in his first kick, which was shared on the club’s social media channels.
The 23-year-old made his return to WA official in October when he was secured by the Eagles in a three-way trade with Carlton and the Western Bulldogs, signing a two year deal with the club.
The former pick number six played 94 games for the Blues, but was in and out of the side this year after being moved from the midfield.
Upon his move to the Eagles, West Coast coach Adam Simpson flagged a role for him back in the centre as a mid-forward.
