Most days are dominated by hospital appointments and gruelling check-ups, but recently, three brave young West Aussies got a taste of five-star treatment.

For Aiden, Paige, and Olivia, everyday life usually revolves around white coats and medical wards, but thanks to Telethon, their usual routine was traded for hotel concierges, circus performers, footy heroes, and a very special appearance by Fat Cat.

Welcome to the life of a Little Telethon Star.

While the medical appointments haven’t stopped, the fun was ramped up to the max when the trio were treated to an unforgettable dream day out at Crown Perth.

Aiden got straight to work alongside one of his ultimate idols, Fremantle Dockers star Mason Cox. Stepping into the role of talent manager for the day, Aiden guided the AFL giant through a series of very important meetings.

The pair bonded instantly, with Aiden describing the VIP experience as a “dream come true.”

Just before lunchtime, Paige had a high-stakes appointment of her own joining Chef Cook — better known as Premier Roger Cook — in the kitchen.

Mr Cook attempted to show Paige the ropes of pasta making, but the highlight came when Paige threw a handful of flour right onto the Premier’s face — a hilarious piece of payback after he cheekily targeted her first.

“I had so much fun throwing flower on him because it made me laugh,” Paige said.

The heartwarming moment had the entire room in tears of laughter — including the Premier, who was left wiping flour off his nose and cheeks.

“That was the best one yet,” Mr Cook laughed following the flour-filled cooking masterclass.

“This morning I was Chef Cook, taking over the kitchens here at Crown to really bring to life the Little Telethon Stars and show how we can continue to make Telethon a great success.

“All the Little Telethon Stars are amazing. Paige has got this gorgeous smile, she’s so vibrant, and she was really great to work with.”

It wasn’t Mr Cook’s first rodeo taking on odd jobs for Telethon kids, having previously tried his hand at various roles around the Crown complex.

“I’ve been a lifeguard, concierge, bellboy, waiter, and this year I’m a chef,” he said.

“I thought chef fitted me well. I am Chef Cook, right? So I felt this year was the best one yet.”

After their busy morning, all three stars reunited over lunch to swap stories from their perfect days before Olivia stepped into the spotlight for her own grand finale.

Olivia was treated to a royal pamper session fit for a princess, complete with her very own personal styling team — Triple M radio hosts Xavier and Katie.

For hours, her every wish was their command as she wore a crown and enjoyed hair brushing, nail painting, and foot massages.

By the time the sun went down, Paige, Aiden, and Olivia all agreed on one thing, it was officially “the best day ever.”
