Cable Beach continued their near-flawless start to the West Kimberley Football League season last week as they hammered the Saints by more than 100 points in their round two encounter.

In the first Friday night game of the year, fans at Father McMahon Ocal watched on as the top side booted 22 goals to deliver another devastating loss to the Saints.

Cable Beach got off to a flyer in the first term with Azman Sebastian, Sonny Dann, CJ Oakley and Joseph Dann booting goals give their side a 47-point lead at the the break while Saints had yet to score.

It was much of the same dominance by Cable in the second, with Saints only getting two opportunities in front of goal.

But two behinds in just as many quarters was all Saints had to show going into half-time, with Cable stretching their lead to 81 points.

The Saints got the first goal of the third term and managed to keep Cable Beach goalless for most of the quarter.

But Cable quickly bounced back and kicked 10 goals in the second half to waltz home with an easy 136-point win.

They will be put to their first proper test when they take on the Bidyadanga Emus on Saturday, while the Saints will travel to Looma, where they hope to pick up their first win against the Eagles.
