Irukandji stings close Town Beach

Broome’s Town Beach has been closed to swimming after a pair of confirmed irukandji jellyfish stings at about 4pm yesterday.

The Shire of Broome is reminding the public that stinger season extends from November to May each year, but can jellyfish can be present at any time.
