Croc sighting closes Cable Beach

Cable Beach has been closed to swimmers after a confirmed crocodile sighting this afternoon.

Lifeguards spotted the 4m long crocodile 200m north of the rocks at about 2pm.

The beach is now being monitored by the Department of Parks and Wildlife, with assistance from Shire of Broome rangers.
