Road closures will be in place in Broome’s Chinatown next week as repairs are made to an intersection damaged during last year’s wet season.

The roundabout connecting Short Street to Carnarvon Street will close on Monday, as well as a section of Short Street up to the exit of the Paspaley Plaza carpark.

The project is expected to be completed by next Thursday.

It was funded by the WA Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements, following record rainfall and extreme weather conditions during the 2017/18 wet season.
