The spotlight will fall on the business women of the Kimberley now entries for the 2017 Telstra WA Business Women’s Awards are open.

The awards recognise the achievements, leadership and creativity of women around the State and Kimberley business-women are being encouraged to enter.

Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry chief executive Jael Napper said the awards provided a wonderful opportunity for the community to spotlight the leadership and creativity of local businesswomen.

“I would urge our community to get behind our local business women and either nominate them for the awards or encourage them to enter the awards program,” she said.

“It’s important to showcase the achievements that business women make to our community and I commend Telstra for its continuing support of this very worthwhile initiative.”

Telstra’s group executive and awards ambassador Joe Pollard said the awards offered a valuable opportunity to recognise the efforts and talents of outstanding businesswomen in the region.

“The Telstra Business Women’s Awards exist because exceptional businesswomen deserve to be celebrated,” she said.
