A body has been located inside a Queensland home after an overnight house fire.
Emergency services were contacted around 5pm on Thursday with reports of the blaze on Verran Street in Bellbird Park.
Queensland Police said the fire was extinguished and a crime scene declared.
It was not until a search of the burnt property this morning that a body was located inside.
The person has not yet been identified.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze and formally identify the deceased person.
