Rider injured after motorbike collides with car in Rockingham

A motorbike rider has been injured after their bike collided with a car this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Patterson Road and Thorpe Street in Rockingham just before 4.30pm.

St John Ambulance are on the scene providing treatment to the motorbike rider.

Photographs from the scene show the motorbike under a silver car.

Police have blocked parts of the road with their vehicles and are diverting traffic away from the scene.
