A woman is fighting for life and a major Perth highway has been shut after a serious early-morning crash.
Emergency services were called to Brookton Highway in Lesley, south-east of Perth near Armadale, after a car hit a tree about 1.40am on Monday.
The female driver, in her 20s, sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital under lights and sirens.
A male passenger in his 20s was also injured and taken to Royal Perth Hospital under normal conditions.
