Emergency on major Perth road as man is left with injuries after crashing motorbike

Emergency crews have rushed to the scene of a crash on a major Perth road involving a man riding a motorbike.

The incident was reported just after 9am after the man crashed on Welshpool Road in Welshpool, south east of Perth, on Sunday.

A police spokesperson confirmed the motorbike was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

St John Ambulance rushed him to hospital under lights and sirens.

It’s understood he had several injuries, including to his legs.
