Christmas came early for the Narrogin community as Father Christmas led the charge through the town in the volunteer emergency services lolly run on Friday night. Children were able to greet Santa and enjoy an early present as sweet treats rained down on residents when local police, SES, firefighters and ambulance officers drove past. Community members got to choose from Father Christmas’ sack of goodies when visiting Gnarojin Park, James Park, Grace Menzies Park and Sydney Hall Park before finishing at Lions Park. The Christmas convoy’s final stop included a free sausage sizzle by Amity Health as everyone enjoyed a sunny evening on the playground. Santa was a hit with the kids, who swarmed him at the park as the local community gets ready for the big day.
