A fortunate WA punter has become the first Set for Life division one winner in the State this year.

As the Lotto game’s name suggests, the West Aussie’s life-changing win will see a handsome sum to the tune of $20,000 land in their bank account every month for the next twenty years, totalling a whopping $4.8m.

It can be revealed the ticket was sold through Lotterywest Play Online, but the winner is yet to visit the Lotto HQ to lay claim to the enviable prize.

Lotterywest spokesperson Zoe Wender said the lucky local’s life will never be the same after securing the top prize.

“Imagine waking up today and knowing you will receive $20,000 a month for the next 20 years,” she said.

“Last year, a set of twin brothers who won Set for Life made plans to slow down and spend more time together fishing thanks to their prize.

“We look forward to meeting WA’s latest division one winner and hearing how this prize will change their life.”

The winning numbers for draw #3862 were 3, 17, 26, 24, 20, 10 and 7. The supps were 18 and 40.

The huge windfall brings WA’s division one tally this year to 26 winners, totalling more than $38m in prizes.

Punters can try their luck in Thursday’s $30m draw, with tickets available for purchase in-store and online until 6pm on the day of the draw.
