A trio of experienced councillors will return to their roles in the Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup council chambers and take a new member under their wing as all four were elected unopposed.

Connie Witham was welcomed as the council’s newest member alongside returning representatives Sara Robinson, Craig Dewar and Carl Letter.

Broomehill-Tambellup’s 783 electors did not have to submit their ballot papers as four candidates slotted into the four vacancies and were elected unopposed.

The 2025 election is the latest in string of uncontested elections in the shire, with the last competitive vote being in 2017.

Former councillor Julian Wills did not vie for a second term.

The four successful councillors were sworn in on October 20, with Cr Doug Barritt elected as shire president and Cr Robinson as his deputy.

Their terms will expire on October 20, 2029.
