Round 33 of City of Greater Geraldton’s Smarty Grants Program is open, eligible not-for-profits urged to apply

The latest round of the City of Greater Geraldton’s community grants program is here, with local community groups after financial help invited to apply. Round 33 of the grants program encourages not-for-profit organisations to apply, with funding up to $10,000 available per applicant. “Our community grants program has proven time and time again to be a game changer in bringing ideas and projects to life,” City of Greater Geraldton deputy mayor Natasha Colliver said. ““By providing this funding opportunity to local not-for-profits, our whole community reaps the benefits with enhanced facilities, initiatives and opportunities. “I urge everyone who is eligible to apply for this funding and continue making our community an even more fantastic place to work, live and play.” Projects funded in the previous round 32 of the program included the Geraldton Club Inc, Geraldton City Band, Geraldton Anglican Cathedral and the Mid West Academy of Sport. Support is available for groups wanting to apply, with feedback on draft applications submitted by Sunday, July 27 . The final deadline for submissions is 5pm on Friday, August 8.
