Emergency services rush to boat in trouble at reef near Alkimos Beach

A boat struck reef near Alkimos Beach and started taking on water on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency authorities put out a “pan-pan” call for the boat just before 4.30pm.

Water Police rushed to the boat which had just one person on board.

No injuries were reported.
