Thornlie police chase: Driver on the run following dangerous pursuit through Perth’s south east

A driver is on the run following a dangerous police chase through Perth’s south east.

Police say a Toyota Yaris sedan sped off after failing to stop for officers on Spring Road and Lester Drive in Thornlie about 3.10am on Thursday.

“A short evade police incident commenced,” a police spokeswoman said.

The chase was terminated because of public safety concerns, with the Yaris spotted in Redcliffe a short time later.
