Mandurah: 36-year-old man in ICU after jumping from car while holding child

A 36-year-old man is accused of injuring a child after he jumped from a moving car while holding them.

On Saturday, May 27, the man was travelling in a gold-coloured Nissan Pathfinder on Gordon Road when police claim he jumped from the car while holding the child.

The child sustained minor injuries and the man was admitted to the ICU as a result of the incident.

The man is due to appear at Mandurah Magistrates Court on June 17.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives are appealing for witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report details online via www.crimestopperswa.com.au
