Bunbury sex attack: Teenage girl, 17, sexually assaulted on Craven Court as detectives probe

Detectives are investigating a horrific sex attack in the South West after a teenage girl was attacked while walking down a street.

Police say a 17-year-old girl was walking along Craven Court, near the intersection of Rendell Elbow in Bunbury, before she was set upon by a man around 10.45pm on Saturday, April 13.

“The male then took hold of the victim and sexually assaulted her,” a police spokesman said.

“As inquiries continue, detectives are seeking any vision between 10.00pm and 11.30pm that may show people or vehicles on Craven Court or the surrounding area.”

It is believed the offender and the victim are known to each other.

The investigation remains ongoing with anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
