VideoYixuan Cheng has been named as a victim of the shocking Bondi stabbing attack.

The sixth victim of the Bondi knife rampage has been revealed as Chinese national Yixuan Cheng.

It is believed Ms Cheng was on the fourth floor of the mall and had been speaking with her fiance in the minutes leading up to the attack.

Ms Cheng was in Australia studying for a master’s degree in economics at Sydney University and has no family in Australia.

Ms Cheng is the last to be identified of the six people killed by Joel Cauchi who attacked shoppers at the busy Bondi Junction Shopping Centre on Saturday.

Her fiance, who is only known as Mr Wang, reportedly said Ms Cheng had been at the shopping centre trying on clothes when Cauchi attacked.

“She happily talked to me on the phone at around 3 in the afternoon. She even tried on clothes for me to see,” he said to Chinese media.

“Unexpectedly, after hanging up the phone, a stabbing incident occurred.

“I contacted her day and night, but there was no response at all. The whole family was so anxious that they didn’t dare to think too much.”

Mr Wang said he had planned to marry Ms Cheng when she finished her studies. It is believed he has booked a fight to come to Sydney.

The other victims are Dawn Singleton, the daughter of millionaire businessman John Singleton, Jade Young an architect and mother of two, Pikria Darchia a 55-year-old artist, Faraz Tahir a security guard and Ashlee Good a first-time mother whose nine month-old baby was also stabbed in the attack and is now recovering in hospital.
