A Huntingdale man will remain in custody after he allegedly ploughed down four people in Perth’s CBD overnight.

The 20-year-old was driving along Barrack Street about 8.40pm on Saturday when he allegedly struck a group of people who were fighting.

It will be alleged the man was earlier involved in a fight with two groups of people in the area.

Four people received minor injuries in the crash.

The man was arrested by police at the scene a short time later and charged with four counts of an unlawful act or omission with intent to harm by endangering life, health or safety of any person.

He was refused bail overnight and during an appearance in the Perth Magistrate’s Court on Sunday, the man didn’t apply for bail.

His lawyer flagged a possible bail application at his next scheduled appearance on August 2.
